How to download and install Termux

 

Here are the steps to download and install Termux.

You can download the F-Droid app from here. Now do the following:

1.    Open the F-Droid app on your Android device.

2.    In the search bar, type "Termux" and press enter.

3.    The search results will display Termux. Click on it.

4.    On the Termux app page, you will see a button that says "Install". Click on it.

5.    You may be prompted to allow F-Droid to install apps. Click "Allow" if prompted.

6.    Wait for the installation process to complete. This may take a few minutes depending on your internet speed.

7.    Once the installation is complete, you will see a notification indicating that Termux has been installed.

8.    Open the Termux app from your app drawer.

9.    Once Termux opens, it will install the necessary packages and dependencies. This may take a few minutes.

10. After the installation is complete, you will see a command-line interface. You can now start using Termux to execute commands and install additional packages.

Congratulations! You have successfully installed Termux from F-Droid.
